Muchuan (b. 2001) is a multidisciplinary artist and writer, currently based in London. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Arts, Technology, and Entertainment at the Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (2023), and obtained an MA in Sculpture at the Royal College of Art (2024). Working across sculpture, installation, and mixed media, she explores the position of invisible individuals, pays attention to aesthetic differences and price classification, and discusses the underlying social distinction. Her work treats the seemingly ordinary commodity as a tool for escape, seeking cracks in the social hierarchy to critique, opening spaces for distance from the threat of power.
